Sushigawa

I had my first food adventure tonight! I know a lot of people have been there before, which was all the more reason for me to go! I went to Sushigawa! Anyone who knows me, knows that I am utterly obsessed with sushi. My boss even got me sushi magnets for Christmas this year!

I got an Alaskan roll and a house salad. An Alaskan roll has salmon, avocado, and cucumber in it. I have found that I am a huge fan of wasabi! The house salad was so good. I had to get another one, and I had to take a corny photo with it! The salad reminded me of my favorite sushi place back home.

 

I was a huge fan of Sushigawa and will hopefully be going back soon! Except next time, I might just get three house salads. :)

The Journey Begins

I am starting this blog to help me get the most out of my last semester in college. I find myself going to a lot of the same places to eat. This is my attempt at stepping outside of my comfort zone.


I had the opportunity last night to go out to a place called Amvets. Prior to going, I had never heard of this place. This visit is what inspired me to start this journey.


I am looking for fun local places to go to next week. Suggestions are welcome!
